FC Lorient recorded an emphatic 2-1 win over visiting Clermont on Sunday and it was Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi that was responsible for the victory.

He opened scoring in the 24th minute from the penalty spot and completed his brace in the 40th minute ensuring that Lorient returned to the locker room in the drivers seat.

The away side returned for the second half as the better side and dominated the play until the 62nd minute when Muhammed Cham reduced the deficit for them.

Moffi was replaced by Kone in the 73rd minute as the team coach tried to secure the win.

Another Super Eagles player Innocent Bonnke was introduced into the game in the 80th minute as the host was made to work hard for their win in the final minutes.
