Super Eagles attacker signs for Algerian Champions on loan from Tunisian Club
Former African champions Esperance has confirmed the loan move of Nigeria's Super Eagles winger Emmanuel Anayo Iwuala.
Iwuala joined the Tunisian giant in 2021 after having a decent outing with Enyimba International in the CAF inter-club competition.
The performance also earned him a call-up to the Super Eagles and he was able to make his debut against Squirrels of Benin Republic.
The management of the Tunisian champion decided to reshuffle the team following their dismal performance in the CAF Champions League last season which led to coach Jaidi Raidi being sacked.
Many players including another Nigerian star Kingsley Eduwo have left the club.
The club on Monday confirmed that Iwuala has been loaned to the Algerian champions CR Belouzidad for one season.
According to the information from the club, he was loaned out to free up space for more foreign players in the team and to get regular playing time.
"Emmanuel Anayo Iwuala on loan to CR Belouizdad. His replacement is expected within the next 48 hours, come back stronger Turbo," the club said.
