Super Eagles interim coach, Augustine Eguavoen has named his starting XI for tonight's 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Benin Republic, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Eguavoen has opted for a 3-4-3 formation, with Chippa United goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali between the sticks despite getting to camp a day before.

Captain William Troost-Ekong will marshal the defence alongside Calvin Bassey and debutant Gabriel Osho.

Nottingham Forest's Ola Aina and Boavista's Bruno Onyemaechi will operate as wing-backs.

Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi will control the midfield, while Victor Osimhen will lead the attack, supported by Ademola Lookman and Kelechi Iheanacho.

Nigeria at the Felix Houphet Boigny Stadium in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire only need a point from the game to make it to the Morocco 2025 AFCON.
