Tottenham have signed winger Ryan Sessegnon for £25m from Fulham and midfielder Giovani lo Celso on loan from Real Betis.
The north Londoners were unable to complete a deal for Juventus forward Paulo Dybala, after the Serie A champions opted not to sell their 25-year-old Argentina international.
His compatriot Lo Celso has initially joined on loan but Spurs have an option to buy the 23-year-old.
Sessegnon meanwhile has signed a five-year deal with an option for one more and the fee for the 19-year-old England U-21 international could rise to £30m with performance-related add-ons.
Josh Onomah, 22, moves to Craven Cottage as part of the deal.
Meanwhile, Stoke City have signed Tottenham's United States defender Cameron Carter-Vickers on a season-long loan deal.
Carter-Vickers, a 21-year-old centre-back, has yet to make a Premier League appearance for Spurs and spent all of last season on loan at Swansea City.
He has also had half-season spells in the Championship with Ipswich Town and Sheffield United in 2017/18.
Christian Eriksen remains a Tottenham player following the closure of the transfer window for Premier League clubs on Thursday afternoon.
Eriksen joined Spurs for £12.5m from Dutch side Ajax in 2013 but has spoken openly this summer of his desire for a 'new challenge' in his career.
Tottenham are 18/1 to win the title this season and 1/2 for a top-four finish. Mauricio Pochettino's side are 11/1 to start with a 3-1 win against promoted Aston Villa on Saturday.
