Spalletti departs Inter role
Coach Luciano Spalletti has left his role as Inter Milan coach with Antonio Conte expected to replace him at the San Siro.
The 60-year-old took charge of Inter in summer 2017 after leaving Roma and successfully guided the Nerazzurri to Champions League qualification via a top-four Serie A finish in his two seasons at the helm.
FC Internazionale Milano can confirm that Luciano Spalletti is no longer head coach of the first team.

However, Spalletti appears to have paid the price after Inter lost in the group stages of the Champions League and failed to mount a serious title challenge domestically during the course of the past season.
The much-travelled Italian tactician still had two years remaining on his deal at Inter, but his departure was confirmed on Thursday morning.
"FC Internazionale Milano can confirm that Luciano Spalletti is no longer head coach of the first team," the club said on Twitter.
"The club wishes to thank Spalletti for his work and the results achieved together."
Meanwhile, Conte, who won three Serie A titles during his time in charge of Juventus and guided Italy to the quarter-finals of Euro 2016, is poised to be named as Spalletti's replacement.
The 49-year-old has not been in a managerial role since leaving Chelsea, where he won the Premier League and FA Cup, 12 months ago.
Meanwhile, Italy are 14/1 to win Euro 2020, while world champions France are priced at 10/3 and England are available at 5/1.
