Bafana Bafana midfielder Mandla Masango has no words to describe the goal he scored against Ghana and has labeled the goal "one of the best goals I have ever scored".

Masango scored a goal which could be a serious contender for goal of the tournament in the national team's final Group C clash against the Black Stars.

According to KickOff, Mandla Masango netted a well-struck half-volley that dipped over Ghana goalkeeper Brimah Razak and rattled the back of the net to hand South Africa the lead in the 17th minute.

“I don’t have any words to describe it,” said Masango.

“It was one of the best goals I have ever scored in my career and I’m grateful that I got an opportunity to represent my country at the Afcon even though we didn’t do well.

“But it was a great experience for most of us.”

Despite the Kaizer Chiefs star's goal for Bafana Bafana, the national side lost the encounter 2-1 which saw South Africa finish bottom of Group C and eliminated from the competition
