David Silva has announced that he will leave Manchester City at the end of the 2019/20 season after spending a decade with the club.

The 33-year-old joined City in June 2010 from Valencia for £26million and has gone on to be one of the team's key players as they have evolved into the dominant force in English football.

The Spaniard has made 395 appearances for the club and won four Premier League titles, two FA Cups and four League Cups in the last nine years.

He featured in 33 league games last season as Pep Guardiola's side won the Premier League title as well as the FA and League Cups.

He scored in last month's 6-0 FA Cup final victory against Watford at Wembley but has decided that the forthcoming campaign will be his last for City.

He said when asked if he would stay at City beyond this season: "No, this is the last one. 10 years for me is enough. It is the perfect time for me.

"Initially, City were talking about two years, but I decided to sign another one, so I finished at 10 years.

"It completes the cycle. It is a nice round figure. I can never see myself playing against City for another team. So 10 years - that's it."

Manchester City can be backed at 4/6 to make it three Premier League titles in a row by being crowned champions again in 2019/20 while they are 4/1 to win the Champions League for the first time in their history this season
