Silva hails 'main target' Iwobi
Marco Silva was delighted to see Everton clinch the signing of Arsenal attacking midfielder Alex Iwobi just before the transfer window slammed shut.
Twenty-three-year-old Iwobi has moved to Merseyside for an undisclosed fee, signing a five-year contract to end an association with the Gunners which stretches back over more than a decade.
Alex was one of our main targets for this window and I believe he is a fantastic signing for Everton.

He is the seventh signing made by the Toffees this summer, with head coach Silva admitting that Nigeria international Iwobi was always one of his major targets.
He told the club's official website: "Alex was one of our main targets for this window and I believe he is a fantastic signing for Everton.
"He is still young but already with a lot of top-level experience - 100 Premier League matches, more in Europe and many international games.
"It was important for me to have one more quality option for our attacking positions to add to what we have with Richarlison, Bernard and Theo Walcott.
"Alex fits exactly the profile of player I want. He is hungry to take the next step in his career, to help us compete with the strongest teams in the league and reach his potential."
Meanwhile, midfielder Muhamed Besic has left Goodison Park to join Premier League newcomers Sheffield United on a season-long loan.
The 26-year-old Bosnia international spent last season on loan in the championship with Middlesbrough, having also finished the previous campaign on Teesside.
The Blades are 4/6 to be relegated this season, while they are 13/5 to secure a draw when they open their campaign at Bournemouth on Saturday.
