According to information gathered by Tuttomercatoweb, Venezia have completed a contract extension with midfielder Luca Fiordilino.

The 25-year old will remain a Venezia player until 2025, something that the club's management wanted for some time now, given that rumors about an extension had been floating around since July. The Sicilian will now hope to help Venezia stay afloat in Serie A, after the lagunari  obtained promotion to Italy's top division for the first time in almost 20 years.

Fiordilino came up in Palermo's youth system and made his debut with Cosenza in 2015 while on loan, where he appeared in 32 matches. He then went on to play for Lecce before going back to Palermo, where he stayed for two seasons, playing in 28 matches. Venezia finally acquired him in 2019, and to date he has made 72 appearances for the club, scoring 4 times.
