As reported in Italian media, 20-year old Czech international centre-back David Zima is undergoing medical examination for Torino.
Parting ways with Slavia Prague, the 2000-born backliner is likely to be announced soon as a new signing by Granata. A Sigma Olomuc alumni, Zima was part of Czech Republic squad for Euro 2020 event, and made his debut into senior national team ranks last March. As a pro club player, he has so far capped 50 times, scoring one goal therein.
Zima is yet to win any title, home or international. The rights on the young player were handsomely paid for, adding up to a 5 million euros overall transfer fee.
