Nigeria's hot striker, Victor Osimhen has been voted the Italian Serie A player for the month of February by the Italian Footballers' Association (AIC) Nigeriasoccernet.com can reports.

The Napoli star man has been in imperious form which has seen him score 5 goals in 5 in the month of February.
"Victor Osimhen won the AIC player of the month award for February (2023) because no one better than him represented the extraordinary form of Spalletti's Napoli at the very moment in which they consolidated their position at the top of this strange Serie A." A statement on the AIC website says.
His goals in the month of February saw Napoli win all their five games making Napoli cement their place in the league standings ahead of Inter Milan, Lazio and Roma.
Osimhen had received the 2022 Best Foreign Athlete in Italy award two days ago for his exploits in the calendar year under consideration.
