Ademola Lookman found the back of the net on Matchday 27 of the 2023-2024 Serie A TIM for Atlanta but his goal in the 28th minute wasn't enough, the visitors came from behind to win 1-2 at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo, Nigeriasoccernet.com writes.

The Nerazzurri started on the front foot and threatened early on when De Ketelaere met Ruggeri’s cross from the left and shot over in the second minute. On 12 minutes it was Ruggeri who fired wide with his left foot. The deadlock was broken in the 28th minute when Zappacosta tested Skorupsi with an angled shot which rebounded into the path of Lookman, who made no mistake from close range. After a couple of efforts from Orsolini and another from Lookman went wide, the Nerazzurri went into the break with a 1-0 lead.

This is Lookman's first goal since the Nigerian returned from the just concluded AFCON where he had a blistering run and making it to the finals with the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Up next for the forward and his club is the first leg of the UEFA Europa League Round of 16 against Sporting CP.
