Striker SelaisieAdjei admits Hearts were lucky to progress to the final qualifying stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Ghanaian giants laboured to a 1-0 defeat at home to AC Djoliba on Sunday but advanced after their 2-1 win in the first leg two weeks ago.

Hearts struggled a against a well discipline Malian side at the Accra sport stadium with fans being made to endure many moments of anguish.

And striker Sellas Adjei admits they were lucky against their opponent.

“We didn’t listen to the coach and that for me was a problem,”he said

“I think we’re very lucky to progress because the tie could have gone anywhere.

“The first leg win did the trick for us. There are hard lessons from this game going into the final lap.”

The Phobians are now awaiting their opponent in the final qualifying phase when th draw is held on Tuesday.
