But late Monday evening, an official of the club informed Completesports that the duo of Bosso and Mangut have also been contacted concerning the job. “As we speak, Bosso and Mangut have been contacted alongside Okpalla,” the official told Completesports.com “Negotiations are currently going on but I can assure you that the lucky one amongst them will be announced and unveiled before 3pm tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon.” Okpala was a stopgap coach of Rangers in 2017 in the aftermath of Imama Amapakabo’s sacking after helping the club win the NPFL league the previous season. Bosso, on the other hand, was in charge of Gombe United last season while Mbwas Mangut was in temporary charge of Delta Force after his boss, Emmanuel Deutsch parted company with the club with six games remaining inn the abridged league fixtures. The lucky coach will have his work cut out as he makes his Rangers debut on Sunday when the Coal City side welcome Egyptian side, Pyramids, in their opening Group A match of CAF Confederation Cup .
