Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has advised the Red Devils to target Victor Osimhen and Viktor Gyokeres in the upcoming transfer window, NigeriaSoccernet.com reports.

Both strikers have been linked with moves to top European clubs, including Manchester United.

Scholes believes that signing both players would strengthen the team's attack.

He also thinks Rasmus Hojlund should be given another chance to prove himself at the club.

This advice comes after Manchester United's recent signing of Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

"I think [Victor ] Osimhen, it sounds like a doable one,” Scholes told The Overlap Fan Debate via Daily Post.

“When you talk about financial problems, Osimhen could be doable. But I would keep [Rasmus] Hojlund.

"I know he is not been great, but he’s a 22-year-old kid playing on his own for Manchester United the last two years.

“Manchester United should have at least three top centre forwards. I would have him and Osimhen. Him, Osimhen, and Gyokeres,” he added.

While Osimhen registered 37 goals for Galatasaray this season, Gyokeres scored 57 times.
