Sassuolo defeat Atalanta, hold Lookman at bay
The code seems to have been figured out and the magic look to be ineffective as Atalanta again was defeated this time in the league by Sassuolo 1-0. Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
La Dea went out of the Coppa Italia to Inter midweek, but were also on a run of 11 points from five rounds, scoring 17 goals in the process.
However, Sassuolo took another prestigious scalp, as Armand Laurienté secured their victory over Atalanta, but the controversial Joakim Maehle red card after just 30 minutes proved decisive, followed by Luis Muriel.
It was indeed a quiet match for Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman who had just 45 minutes of football with no single shot recorded for him.
Atalanta are sixth on the league table and they have a date against Lazio the team in fourth on Saturday.
