Italian giants AS Roma are reportedly preparing a January bid for Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina, valued between €12m and €15m, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Despite the change in manager, Roma have struggled in their first seven league games and Ivan Juric Roma seeks to bolster their full-back options, and Aina's familiarity with Serie A, courtesy of his stint with Torino, makes him an attractive prospect.

The Giallorossi, according to Gazzetta dello Sport will likely negotiate a lower fee and may try to include Nicola Zalewski in a player-plus-cash swap deal due to Aina’s valuation.

The 28-year-old Nigerian international has impressed during his time in Italy, scoring two goals and providing seven assists in 113 appearances for Torino.

Aina's contract with Premier League side Nottingham Forest expires next summer, prompting Roma to consider a January move.

Nottingham Forest, however, is keen to extend Aina's stay, but Roma's interest may test the player's loyalty.
