Deal for the Aquile: the forward Rey Manaj left Barcelona and moved to the Golfo dei Poeti on loan with the option to be bought permanently.

Born in 1997, Manaj has good physicality and running. He grew up in the youth sector of Piacenza and continued his career in Cremona with the yellow-red shirt. In the 2013/2014 season he moved on loan to Sampdoria, where he showed off his skills with the Primavera team, before returning to Cremonese in Lega Pro, where despite his young age, he collected 27 appearances and scored 2 goals.

In the summer of 2015, he was bought by Inter, a club with which he made his debut in Serie A. The 2015/2016 season was full of satisfaction for Manaj and in addition to 6 appearances with the first team, came also the victory in the Coppa Italia with the Primavera selection.

The next three seasons were spent by Manaj on loan between Pescara, Pisa, and Granada and he remained on the Iberian peninsula in the following season, first with Albacete (30 appearances and 7 goals), then, from January 2020, with Barcelona, where was initially included in Barcelona B squad and then promoted to the first team under the guidance of Quique Setien.

In the national team, after the youth selections, he made his debut in November 2015 against Georgia, scoring 24 appearances and 5 goals with the national team.
