Kuwait-based Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila feels he deserves Black Stars recall
Kuwait-based Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila feels he's done enough to earn Ghana recall after being excluded from the side since the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
The 22-year-old has returned to South African side Mamelodi Sundowns after a fabolous short loan spell at Kuwaiti side Al Qadsia.
The former Kotoko strong centre-back says he's ready to stage a return to the team.
"The performance has been good and I'm ready when the opportunity present itself," he said
"If the coach wants me and invite me, I will be ready to serve my nation.
"I'm in good shape but then again it all depends on the coach."
The former Ghana Under-23 defender has been overlooked at the international since the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Do you think Rashid deserves to be recalled to the Black Stars? Is he better than the current central defenders in the Black Stars? Make your views known in the box below:

You are one of the best Black Stars central defenders but you must watch John Mensah and John Terry, be poised and cool but get the job done.
