Nuno Espirito Santo is concerned about the "harm" that may be caused if Tottenham's Cristian Romero and Giovani Lo Celso defy the Premier League's 'red list suspension and join Argentina.

Next week, Romero and Lo Celso will fly to Argentina for World Cup qualifying matches against Venezuela, Bolivia, and Brazil.

The players will not be spared from having to undergo a coronavirus quarantine upon their return since all four countries are on the British government's 'red-list.'

Last week, Premier League teams opted not to release players bound for red list destinations.

If Romero and Lo Celso do travel, they will miss at least three games while quarantined at a hotel approved by the government.

"This is a problem that affects all teams and all South American players in the Premier League, not just us." After Sunday's 1-0 win against Watford, Nuno remarked, "We have to respect the Government legislation."

"We will make every effort to do so, but we do not have any backing from FIFA, the government, or the Premier League in this circumstance."
