Manchester United centre-back Harry Maguire will pair up with Cristiano Ronaldo in what is touted to be one of the club’s strongest starting eleven in recent memory.

The defender commented on Ronaldo’s arrival and said: "Of course, it's amazing, just amazing to have him at the club and I'm sure he's gonna have a huge impact on and off the field.”

“For me, he is the greatest player to play the game,” he said.

The duo are expected to be in United’s first eleven against Newcastle United on September 11.
