Ghana goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey has given the “thumbs up” to the handlers to his Portland Timbers side after they wrapped up their pre-season campaign with a 1-0 win over Norwegian Stabaek.

The 27-year-old hailed his colleagues and the entire Timbers management for their effort.

"The team is really good and it is easy to understand every one," Kwarasey said.

"They are professional players and I can anticipate them. On my part, I try to do same for them so they can also figure out what I want to do.

"The pre-season games were really helpful."

Kwarasey joined the Timbers from Norwegian side Stromsgodset after the expiration of his contract in November last year.

Timbers begin their 2015 Major League Soccer campaign Real Salt Lake.
