Portland Timbers coach Caleb Porter says he is satisfied with the way his goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey is settling into the team.

The 27-year-old was restored in post and kept a clean sheet in Timbers last pre-season game against Stabaek.

Kwarasey is expected to be the number one goalkeeper of the side going into the MLS season next week.

And Caleb believes Kwarasey adds something valuable to the team.

“He is very comfortable He’s not casual because there is a difference,” he said

“He really looks like a guy who has played a lot of games he’s in his prime right now and he played at a high level in Norway.

“Obviously, he’s played internationally as well and I think you see that in his presence and his confidence.

“Again based on what we’ve seen in the preseason, he looks very good”
