Nigerian Coaches may be heading for a collision with the leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) when it emerged that indigenous Coaches snubbed the open race for the Super Eagles job owing to comments credited to the FA President, Amaju Pinnick, who was said to have downgraded their competence for the role.

Peters maintains that when Pinnick suggested in series of interviews that he was tired of Nigerian Coaches, the Nff leadership had not only systematically passed judgement on their ability to lead the senior men’s national team even before they applied but it means he considers them as ‘nobodies’.

Peters who managed several national teams in the past believes the snub was a show of solidarity for the current interim Coach of the team, Salisu Yusuf and a statement of defiance against the administration’s perception.
