Jurgen Klopp reveals that despite being his best friend of 30 years, he would love his Liverpool side to beat David Wagner's Huddersfield.

LIVERPOOL -- Philippe Coutinho will miss Liverpool's match with Huddersfield Town on Saturday through injury.

Coutinho was a doubt for the encounter after suffering an adductor injury in training earlier this week.

Speaking at his news conference on Friday afternoon, Jurgen Klopp said it was "not clear" whether the playmaker would miss out on the meeting with David Wagner's newly promoted side.

However, it has since been confirmed that the Brazilian is not part of the matchday squad, while Georginio Wijnaldum returns to the Liverpool side after missing last weekend's defeat at Tottenham Hotspur with a knee issue.
