Assistant skipper of Hearts Owusu Bempah, is backing his colleagues to negotiate a tricky second leg encounter against Malian side Djoliba.

The Phobians go into the second leg encounter at home win an impressive 2-1 advantage at home.

Herbert Addo’s men are however without a win since that victory away in Mali, with games against Olympics and AshGold all ending in draws.

Bempah who was a catalyst for the success in Mali is now with the Under 20 in New Zealand but says his colleagues are more than capable of overcoming the challenge posed by the Malians.

“I am very confident that my mates can do the job and see us to the next stage of the competition,’’ Bempah told GHANAsoccernet.com

“The understanding is coming slowly and from the way we have spoken about the game I am very certain that we will go all out win on Sunday.”

A win on Sunday will send Hearts to the group stage of the CAF Confederation cup.
