Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has revealed that he felt valued at the club, which influenced his decision to join from Napoli this summer, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Nigerian international turned down several big offers from top clubs, including Chelsea, Al-Hilal, Arsenal, Manchester United, Juventus, and Paris Saint-Germain, to sign for Galatasaray on a permanent transfer.

Speaking about his decision, Osimhen emphasized that he felt appreciated and respected at Galatasaray, which ultimately swayed his choice.

“I already knew in my heart where I wanted to be. They valued me here,” Osimhen said at his post-match interview after Galatasaray’s 3-1 win against Çaykur Rizespor in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday.

“There is a really different understanding within the club. Whether a player makes the starting eleven or the substitutes, everyone is respected here.

The 26-year-old striker has made a strong start to the season, scoring crucial goals for his new club.
