Perth Glory has strengthened its squad ahead of the 2024/25 A-League Women's season with the signing of Nigerian international defender Onyinyechi Zogg, Nigeriasoccernet.com gathered.

The 27-year-old Swiss-born center-back brings a wealth of experience from her time playing in top European leagues, including Switzerland, France, Germany, and Israel. Zogg has also represented Nigeria at the international level, making her senior debut in 2021.

As a composed and experienced defender, Zogg is expected to make a significant impact on the Perth Glory backline. The club is excited to welcome her to the team and believes she will be a valuable asset in their pursuit of success in the upcoming season.

“Once my manager told me about the possibility of going to Perth Glory, I jumped at the opportunity,” she said.

“I have heard so much about the quality and level of the ALW and always wanted to experience it and now to be able to do this with Perth Glory is such a fantastic opportunity.

“I’m really looking forward to meeting my teammates and Coach in person and to being an effective contributor to the club’s success", she said to the club media.
