Sky Bet Championship club, Hull City are reportedly interested in Nigerian forward, Anthony Nwakaeme
Nwakaeme, who has been capped once at the international level by Nigeria is in the hunt for a new club after severing ties with Turkish Super Lig champions, Trabzonspor.
The striker has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia where a number of clubs are ready to offer him a lucrative deal.
Nwakaeme joined Trabzonspor in 2018, and the Nigerian striker established himself as a hero at the club. In fact, in his third season at the club, Trabzonspor erected a statue of Nwakaeme.
The 33-year-old left Trabzon after refusing to sign a contract extension. However, he left on a high. Nwakaeme recorded 13 goals and ten assists last season- the highest return in his career.
Nwakaeme played a prominent role in the Black Sea Storm’s first Super Lig triumph in 37 years.
