Omar Sadiq’s name has resurfaced as a potential target for Valencia ahead of the next transfer window. The Nigerian striker remains keen on joining the Spanish side and has reportedly offered himself to the club once again, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Valencia’s head coach, Rubén Corberán who had expressed interest in Sadiq during the summer transfer window continues to support the idea of bringing him in, according to reports from Noranta Minuts. The team has struggled in recent matches, including difficulties in front of goal, which has only strengthened the case for his acquisition.

If a deal with Real Sociedad is feasible, Corberán is reportedly willing to integrate Sadiq into the squad.

However, as was the case in the summer, the final decision rests with the club president, Jokin Aperribay. Sadiq’s opportunities at Sociedad this season have been limited; he has played just over 70 minutes in the Copa del Rey and only 14 minutes in La Liga—five against Mallorca and nine against Barcelona.

On the international front, Sadiq’s national team, Nigeria, is set to compete in the Africa Cup of Nations this December. However, he has not featured for the Super Eagles since March of this year, leaving his participation in doubt ahead of the tournament.
