Now, the Nigeria international revealed how excited he was and that he hold no grudge despite his less playing opportunity while he was starting out as a footballers in the top flight.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the upcoming match, 27-year-old disclosed to BBC, "I don’t know if this is going to get me in trouble, but I am a Chelsea fan. It’s a fixture I’ve been looking forward to and I’m excited to be involved in it to see what happens."

Despite his allegiance to Chelsea, Aina emphasizes that there's no animosity towards his former club. He remarked, "I don’t think there’s any point to prove. I don’t hold grudges or anything – whatever happened in the past happened.

“There’s no animosity there. It’s just the career of a footballer. I only have fond moments of being at Chelsea. It’s a chapter that closed and [I’ve] moved on, just how anyone else would."

The Forest back in September defeated Chelsea 1-0 at theStamford Bridge.
