With a tweet on their official account, Club Necaxa announced the signing of Mexican midfielder Ruben Gonzalez for this upcoming season.
Gonzalez will now be on his second stint with the club, having already played with the Aguascalientes side in 2019, before departing for Club America, where he played in the second half of 2019 and 2020 and Leon, where he spent the first six months of 2021. He won a Copa MX and a MX SuperCup with Necaxa, where he undoubtedly played his best football, and hopes to do so again after his spells with America and Leon were underwhelming compared to his Necaxa form.
