Lorien striker Terem Moffi has joined league rival OGC Nice in a six months loan deal. nigeriasoccernet.comreports.

The Ligue 1 club signed the Nigerian on an initial short loan deal with a mandatory purchase option at the end of the spell.

Moffi joined Lorient from Belgian Pro League club, KV Kortrijk in 2020 in a deal worth €8m and has since then made himself a reliable striker particularly this season, scoring 12 goals in 18 league appearances.

“OGC Nice is pleased to formalize the arrival of Terem Moffi in the form of a loan with a mandatory purchase option, from FC Lorient,” OGC Nice write on its website.

It was earlier reported West Ham United agreed a deal with Lorient for the player but Moffi turned them down for a move to Nice.
