Nasarawa Amazons denied Rivers Angels a second consecutive win in the Nigeria Women Football League Super Six matchday 3 following a scoreless affair, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The encounter at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenegao produced no goals despite 7 shots for the Amazons while the Jewel of Rivers had 10 shots.

Rivers Angels came produced attempt of the game as early as the 4th minute as Olamide Adugbe came close but her attempt went inside wide.

With Rivers testing the goalkeeper twice as against Nasarawa's one attempt on target, the first half ended goalless.

The second half, it was Nasarawa who piled up the pressure and could have been ahead if Bibiana Odoh had not missed a sitter on the 67th minute.

However, the urgency for a goal was more for the 2021 champions who tested the goalkeeper four more times, but it proved abortive as Bakare Shukurat ensured the score remained same till the end.
