Nurudeen Aweroro has been appointed as the new head coach of Nigeria Premier Football League side, Shooting Stars of Ibadan, NigeriaSoccernet.com reports.

Aweroro, who leaves Ikorodu City on mutual consent, joins the Oluyole Warriors after a successful season, finishing fourth in the league and last four in the President's Federation Cup.

He is a CAF-licensed tactician with experience from Remo Stars, MFM FC, and Ikorodu City.

He replaces Coach Gbenga Ogunbote, who was sacked after the conclusion of the 2024/2025 season.
