Nuno Espirito Santo refused to get carried away after seeing his Wolves side end a six-game winless run by claiming a 2-1 victory over Chelsea at Molineux.

Second-half goals from Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota completed a superb turnaround for the hosts, who had fallen behind 18 minutes in when Ruben Loftus-Cheek netted for the visitors.

We got the result, but we have a long way to go.

And, despite being full of praise for the way his team battled back to secure a famous win, Nuno was still looking for more from his players.

He told reporters: "This doesn't mean all the problems are solved.

"It was a very good performance. In the first half, the organisation and staying in the game was important.

"In the second half, we showed desire to go in front - it was fantastic work from the boys. The only way to play these teams is you have to run more than them and, when you have your chances, take them. We have to maintain these standards.

"We got the result, but we have a long way to go."

Next up for Wolves is a Sunday trip to Tyneside to take on a Newcastle United outfit who have only lost one of their last six games, having earned a 1-1 draw at Everton on Wednesday evening.

Wolves are 8/5 to defeat the Magpies and are 11/1 to do so by a 2-1 scoreline, with the men from Molineux available at 4/7 to finish in the top half of the Premier League table come the end of the season.
