NPFL:"It wasn’t the result we wanted" Ilechukwu laments
Rangers technical adviser, Fidelis Ilechukwu has expressed disappointment with his team's 2-0 loss to Warri Wolves on Sunday.
Ilechukwu attributed the defeat to a tactical mistake, which ultimately cost his team the game.
Godwin Oham and Prince Ebhohon scored the goals that sealed victory for Warri Wolves at the Southern Delta University Stadium, Ozoro.
"It wasn’t the result we wanted. When we were a goal down, we took the risk by reducing the numbers in midfield and increasing the numbers in attack to look for a goal, and that resulted in conceding the second goal,” Ilechukwu stated in a post-match interview.
Ilechukwu's post-match comments highlighted the need for his team to learn from their mistakes and bounce back stronger.
