Two points from possible nine in the last 3 games have left Remo Stars top 3 finish target in doubt and that seems to be giving the head coach some headaches at the moment, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.

A goaless draw at home with Gombe United, a 1-1 draw at Shooting and last Sunday's share of spoils with Bendel Insurance at home leaves Remo Stars 4th on the log. Although level on point with 3rd place Akwa United and a point behind 2nd placed Enyimba whom they play next, the chances of a top 3 finish is getting slimmer especially with the team's inability to win games at home in recent weeks.

Speaking after the game against Bendel Insurance, Daniel Ogunmodede said:

“I don’t feel too good about the result, but I just need to pick up the pieces to help my players continue to go strong."

"It’s three consecutive draws, but don’t forget that we have not lost in the second round as well. We are now thinking about the next game, to go to Aba and get the three points there, it’s possible," he added.

"On our chances, I will say most likely, we will keep fighting till the end,” concluds the former assistant manager of Portuguese outfit C.D. Feirense.
