NPFL: “We want to apologise to you over the draw game against Remo Stars,” Shooting appeal to their fans
The management of Shooting Stars Sports Club has tendered an unreserved apology to their fans following Sunday’s 1-1 home draw against Remo Stars in the South West derby in the Nigeria Professional Football League,Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
After calling for home support from the fans on Radio stations in Ibadan before the game, the Oluyole Warriors left their fans disappointed with the outcome of the clash.
The management through a statement, appealed for patience and more support from the teeming fans of the club.
“We want to apologise to you over the draw game against Remo Stars last Sunday, knowing fully well that you expected something better.
“Be rest assured that based on the outcome of the meeting we held with the technical crew, we are going to make it up for you with good results in our subsequent matches,” it said.
Although the Shooting have suffers just a defeat since the commencement of the second stanza of the league, but they are only four point outside relegation.
