Rangers have saluted the capacity crowd that turned up to watch them beat Nasarawa United 2-1 in a Friday Night clash and return to the top of the Nigeria league table.

Rangers are top of the standings on 24 points from 12 matches and have a game in hand after the game at Giwa FC was abandoned recently.

“We wish to thank the fans for coming out to today to cheer us to another victory,” an elated Chisom Egbuchulam told AfricanFootball.com

“We hope to keep winning for them.”

“The fans made it possible for us to win this game,” added Christian Madu.

“We were really impressed with the turnout and we promise not to let them down.”

Defender Etim Matthew also told AfricanFootball.com: “The fans should keeping coming because we will keep winning for them.

“My wife has really brought me luck(he recently got married).”
