NPFL UPDATE: Lack Of Communication Cost Us Loss
Nasarawa United forward, Sam Agba, felt his side’s performance against Abia Warriors deserved at least a point. An own goal by the defender Abdulbasit Shittu gave Abia Warriors maximum points.
“It’s was a very good game but at the later stage the match due to lack of communication in the defence with the goalkeeper made us concede a late goal to Abia Warriors. But we still thank God that the we had a very good match, we deserve a point if not for the late mistake,” Agba told Goal.
“Sure, by His grace we shall pick the maximum points needed in our last two matches to fancy a continental slot. Our orientation still remains as it has always been, playing on the same home ground as Lobi Stars won’t affect our believe to be victorious.”
