Despite waiting till the final match day of the 2021/22 Nigeria Professional Football League season to beat the drop, Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan has chosen to stay with a crop of players that helped them maintain their Premier League status, Nigeriasoccernet.com gathered.

The Oluyole Warriors returned to the NPFL at the start of the 2021/22 season and looked like they will be going down immediately but they managed to beat the drop.

According to the statement, the retained players are expected to resume training immediately after a new coach is appointed for the new season.
