The Nigeria Premier Football League has rescheduled some of the 2025/2026 league matches due to some of the teams' participation in continental tournaments, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The matches involving the two CAF Champions League - Remo Stars and Rivers United and the games involving Abia Warriors and Kwara United in the CAF Confederation Cup were rearranged.

Abia Warriors versus Remo Stars will now hold on Wednesday October 1, same as Rivers United versus Niger Tornadoes.

Former champions of the league, Kano Pillars will now lock horns with Kwara United on Wednesday, October 8.

Also, Plateau United and Bendel Insurance will now play home games on Saturdays instead of Sundays.

All other fixtures remain unchanged.
