The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Tuesday 9th December, 2024 announced the rescheduling of the matchday 18 fxtures of the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League season, Nigeriasoccernet.com can report.

The reason for the rescheduling according to the Federation is because of the Super Eagles first game of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d'Ivoire which will come on Sunday January 14th, 2024.

With this new development, four of the games have now been moved to Saturday 13th January, 2024 with the rest to be played on Monday January 15, 2024.

The Super Eagles will tackle Equatorial Guinea in their AFCON opener on Sunday 14th January 2024 at the Olympic StadiumEbimpe, Abidjan Ivory Coast by 2pm local time.
