Nigeria Premier Football League has mandated clubs with contract breaches and overdue payables to act soon or risk withholding the players' licenses indefinitely, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The NPFL gave the clubs Monday, October 14, 2024, to settle these issues after the initial extended grace until Friday, October 11.

The league body revealed in a statement on Thursday that clubs like Heartland, 3SC, Bendel Insurance, Kwara Utd, Lobi Stars, El-Kanemi, Abia Warriors, Enyimba, Katsina Utd & Akwa Utd were facing complaints over overdue payables and contract breaches.

Heartland has complaints of overdue payables and contract breaches with Coach Kennedy Boboye, Ezekiel Bassey, Stephen Chukwudi, Itodo Ocheme, Prince Momoh, Aputazie Ugochukwu, Samuel Emeka Onukwube, Ifeanyi Anyanwu, Austin Osayande, Patrick Nwogbara, and Chukwudi Esobe.

3SC, Bendel Insurance, Kwara Utd, Lobi Stars & El-Kanemi have issues of overdue payables & contract breaches with Sikiru Alimi, Yusuf Akeem Shira, Adekunle Ayobami Samuel, Solomon Babatunde & Lordson Ichull respectively.

Abia Warriors have unresolved cases from arbitration with Ikedinachi Nwakanma (N4m), Julius Obinna (N3m), Imoh Azubuike (N3.15m) & Victor Alegbe (N5m).

Enyimba also has unresolved cases from arbitration with Stephen Chukwude (N5m) & Chijioke Akuneto (N1.2m) while Katsina Utd has the same issue with Coach Usman Abd'Allah (N7.7m), Coach Nasir Salisu (N1.25m) & Coach Tony Bolus (N8m).

Lobi Stars & Kwara Utd also have unresolved cases from arbitration with Christian Nwokedi (N1.5m) & John Obuh (N10.45m) respectively while Akwa Utd has the same issue with Osahon Uhunmwangbon & others (N47m revalidated from an earlier decision in 2015).

El-Kanemi Warriors also have unresolved cases from arbitration with Bala Yusuf (N750,000), Emmanuel Adoyi (N1.65m) & Suleiman Sodiq (N1m).
