Multiple champions of the Nigeria Premier Football League, Enyimba FC have recorded a second consecutive win after beating Lobi Stars in Aba on Wednesday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The People's Elephant continued their fine start to the 2024/2025 season with a 2-1 win over Lobi Stars of Makurdi at the Enyimba International Stadium.

Ufere Chinedu had opened the score for the former champions after 13 minutes of action before captain Eze Ekwutoziam doubled the lead two minutes later from the spot.

The visitors pulled one back after 37 minutes played through Waheed Adebayo'sas the first half ended with Enyimba taking a slim lead into the dressing room.

An effective performance from Enyimba saw the score remain the same in the second half as they secured the maximum points at full-time.

The win takes Enyimba fourth on the log with six points after two matches while Lobi Stars are seventeen on the log with a point after matches played.
