Sunshine Stars coach, Kenedy Boboye believed his team should have gotten something from the Kano Pillars' game had they converted their chances, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Sunshine Stars were defeated 2-0 over the weekend with Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa scoring the two goals.

In his post-match interview, Sunshine Stars Technical Adviser, Boboye said his side paid the price for not being clinical in front of goal, lamenting that they squandered many chances.

According to him, "It was a bad game for us. We played very well, but the result did not show how we performed.

"We wasted many goal-scoring chances. If we had converted our chances, we would have been 4 goals up in the first half.

"When you fail to convert your chances, you get punished. Our opponents took theirs and made good use of them.

"We will keep working hard to ensure we win our next game against Rangers International," he said.

Sunshine Stars are currently 8th on the log with seven points and next host Rangers International at Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu-Ode.
