Despite losing to Sunshine Stars this weekend on matchday 15, Lobi Stars coach Mohammed Babaganaru has hailed his players for their sacrifices, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Makurdi based club lost away 1-0 away from home Daniel Onovo’s lone strike in the 22nd minute at Akure Sport Complex in Ekiti.

Babaganaru said the performance of the players is an improvement from their last outing in Yenegoa.

“We worked with the players after our game against Bayelsa United last week,” he said in a post match interview

“They responded well to every details we told them in training and am satisfied with that.”

Lobi Stars remain top of the Group B table with three matches left to the end of the season.
