NNL: Malumfashi FC get new Technical Adviser
Nigeria National League side, Malumfashi Football Club has announced Steven Lokrit as its new Technical Adviser.
The Katsina based club announced the former Mighty Jets Fc Coach's appointment through a press release on Monday where he was unveiled.
Lokrit who signed a two-year contract with the Masari Boys at the club office in Malumfashi takes over from Rabi’u Tata whose one year contract expired last season.
Speaking at the brief ceremony , Malumfashi Fc Chairman Sirajo Umar Baba challenged the new coach to brace up for the challenges ahead by clinching one of the two NPFL ticket (Northern Conference) for the community and the sports loving people of Katsina State, stressing that the Club remains a unifying factor for people of the state.
He assured the new Technical Adviser of maximum support and cooperation to enable him succeed as everything has been put in place to ensure his comfort while discharging his duties.
" Malumfashi People are very passionate about the club and that is why we don't want you to fail during your time as a trophy at the end of the season or a NPFL ticket is always our ambition.
" The previous coach that left finished second last year and yours should not be an exception. So I employ you to put your acts together and fashion out a winning template that will propelled the team to victory .
Responding, the newly appointed Technical Adviser Steven Lokrit promised to deliver the NPFL ticket stressing that he cannot afford to fail where he predecessors succeeded.
He solicited for the cooperation of the club supporters and all other critical stakeholders to enable him succeed, noting that everybody have a role to play in that regard .
Steven Lokrit succeeds Rabi’u Tata whose one year contract expired last season.
Lokrit had had spells as Head Coach for Mogas Fc (Benin Rep), Kenyan Breweries Fc (Nairobi), Teap Fc.
