Ex-Nigeria U20 midfielder Nnamdi Ofoborh made his return to professional football for the first time in over three years, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The former Wycombe FC player who was diagnosed with a heart-related issue around July 2021, debuted for Swindon Town on Friday.
He made his debut as an 85th minute substitute in their 2-1 victory over Notts County.
Ofoborh joined Swindon Town FC in the English League Two after he joined Rangers of Scotland in 2021, but could not play a single match after the heart issues started.
The victory has moved former Dundee United and Greenock Morton defender Gavin Gunning's side 10 points clear of the drop zone in England's fourth tier and ended their wait of three games without a win.
